Shredded Beef Sauce



Asian food is one of our favourite cuisines so we decided to try this out. We looked around for a recipe but did not really find one so we freestyled and ended up here. It was delicious and very straightforward. We tried our best to make it healthy by pairing it with some bulgar wheat. We hope you enjoy this recipe because we loved it! xx

Ingredients:


  • Boneless beef (300 grams)

  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 3 tbsp corn starch

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • All-purpose seasoning

  • 1 whole red and yellow bell peppers

  • 2 Green onion

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

  • Water

  • 1 tsp paprika



Steps:


  1. Slice the beef into very thin strips.

  2. Toss beef, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 2 tsp oil, the salt and pepper in a bowl. Marinate for 30 minutes- 2 hours

  3. Cut bell peppers into thin strips and cut up green onions

  4. Following this, in a bowl mix 2 tsp cornstarch, water, soy sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.

  5. Get a wok, heat it up with 3 tbsp of veg oil

  6. Add beef and ginger. Stir-fry 1 minute or until meat is browned.

  7. Add bell peppers; stir-fry to your liking

  8. Stir in cornstarch mixture; cook and stir until thickened, I added some more water to make it saucier.

  9. add in spring onions and serve
